Date Night Hand-Building / One Time Clay Play
Discover the tactile pleasure of handbuilding in an intimate, guided one-time class. Perfect for a date, a friend hangout, or a solo creative break. In this relaxed session you’ll learn simple handbuilding techniques to create organic, palm-sized pieces: a cup, bowl, plate, or small sculpture. All clay, tools, and materials are included.
During the class you’ll shape your piece with an emphasis on natural, organic forms, then paint it the same day with a simple design. No prior experience required — this is enjoyable for any skill level. Your work will be glazed and fired by our skilled team and ready for collection in 1–2 months.
Please note each spot is sold individually. Come by yourself or bring a partner, friend, or parent — just be sure to purchase a spot for them too.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
A request of cancellation has to be made at least 2 weeks prior the class, you must send an email to us with a reason. Refunds requested within 14 business days of the first class are 50% refundable, we do not reschedule date night workshops within 14 business days of the event. There will be no refunds within the 14 day period prior to class. Should a class not fill sufficiently, we may cancel it one week prior to the first class session.
If student want to reschedule a class, please email us 48 hours before the class.
If a student wants to reschedule a class, please email us a week before the class. Reschedules are subject to a $30 admin fee, per person. The make-up class is subject to additional fee. We recommend that you double check your schedule before booking the class.
If classes are cancelled or interrupted by a Public Health Order, refunds will not be available. We will rearrange the class within a reasonable time frame.
Student pots will be kept at the studio for only 6 months after the end date of the class, no later. It is the student’s responsibility to contact Ground Ceramic Studio if they are unable to pick up their pieces on the dates provided by their instructor, no exceptions.
